when i first got my 2g i did notice it made a somewhat weird noise when a pressed and depressed the clutch and figured it was tranny/clutch. so i decided to get a new tranny and put that up. at the same time i installed a fidanza flywheel but kept the same clutch disk and pressure plate. i know the trannys is good but now the noise is acually worse than it was before. i did some research and a lot of people think that it could be the trust bearing??? this does seem correct to me and that the lighter flywheel would make the grinding/ rubbing noise worse. does this sound correct to anyone else??

Thrust bearing, not trust. Yeah, it could be. You'll have to pull the oil pan and measure the bearing clearence. FVAQ explains how to do it with some feeler guages.

ya im not looking forward to that lol. could a warped pressure plate have the effect and make that sound?? It either has to be clutch related or bearing related.
