i dont know if you guys already talked about it or not
but to me, it looks 10000 times uglier than the evo8.
and for sure i am not paying 30k for it.

I know the motor is oriented opposite of ours, but I'm seriously thinking about making one fit in my GSX... I can't see there being that much fabbing, it is the last year of the 4G63, so it's in essence the same motor, so maybe motor mounts, and I'd need to put new exhaust (being in the back of the motor 'stead of the front) and plumb up the intercooler/intake.... but it would keep the heat from the turbo away from my radiator and intercooler :wink:

It's a badass motor... I don't care for the body style, but I really dig the 2g eclipse/talon

the evo x is not using a 4g63 at all, its gonna be some small a$$ v6 or a totally new motor, the 4g63 dies with the evo 9

Is the evo9 the one with MIVEC? I thought that the 4g63 was coming to the states with MIVEC for it's last glory run before they swapped motors?

Rich yuppies don't drive EVO's....they drive Porsches, BMW's and Benz's

look on eBay or on EVO forums and you will find totaled EVO's everywhere. You know who it is who totals them? Snot nosed little punks who can't drive to save their a$$.

yea as for ones at the auctions the real stupid people are the ones who buy rolled ones for $15-$18k and cry about it when they find out that the headlights alone are almost $2000 for the pair!!!!!!!

There's always the case of "more money than brains"

The Ferrari community was holding their breath to see who would wreck the first Enzo.... sure enough.... some dumbass wrecked his.... then, an even dumber ass loaned his Enzo to a friend who quickly kissed a bus with it.

It takes all kinds, the EVO is Mitsu's golden child for the moment, but the dealers have marked that car up so high it's given some of their owners a marked up ego.


Remember this, a Porsche was made for those with a little less in the pocketbook to get a taste of something special.
