ya from what i understand ill have the things needed to do it.. im sure i can get it eventually but i want to make sure its done right.. its not that i want someone to do it for me.. just someone to be there and supervise me to assure that i dont mess things up or i dont forget anything...

so you have everything needed for install?
oil feed line
oil return line
j-pipe
lower j-pipe (you can use your stock licp, but you'll have to cut it up a bit)
gaskets (turbo-manifold gasket, oil return line gasket, etc.)
(1) manifold - turbo bolt (the t25 has a stud, the 14b doesn't)

as long as you have everything, the install shouldn't take more than 1 hr.

if ya do the install on the weekend, i'll be happy to "supervise"

You don't need a manifold.. just the turbo to manifold bolt. I would change out the gaskets as well. They aren't that expensive, and its a good thing to do.

The gaskets needed are:
turbo to manifold
turbo to O2 housing
O2 housing to down pipe
(2) oil return line gaskets
(4)crush washers for the water feed and return lines,
Compressor outlet/j pipe gasket. (RTV is fine)
$19 total

You'll need the banjo bolts and crush washers for the 1G oil feed line, one for the head and one for the turbo
$12 total

1 long manifold to turbo bolt is highly recommended
$8.75

Having all of these makes the install easy and pretty much garantees no leaks. Finally finishing everything and having a tap tap tap exhaust leak or coolant or oil dripping everywhere and bruning off SUCKS! You can reuse all of that crap but the chances for leaks sky rocket and it's not worth it, especially if you get it together and then have to wait a week to drive your car because you're waiting on the gasket order.

Call Road Race Engineering and tell them that's the stuff you need, those are their prices. You should have it in a couple days.

my evo3 install only took ~40 min, but then again we kinda rushed it

should only take an hour

make SURE your feed line is TIGHT

i bled from pauls driveway all the way to lincoln

lol george's car hate's me....

you can buy all the gaskets in one kit from kragens' for like 30 bucks. it comes with everything you need, plus a few extra's just in case.

if i were you, i wouldn't tap at the head for the oil feed. go from the filter housing, much cleaner. i'd suggest you get a SS oil feed line.

from my experiences, the best and cheapest (and fastest shipping) place to get that single manifold to turbo bolt is extremepsi. its only $6 and you can buy the ss feed line from them also ($48).

i can come up and "supervise" on sat afternoon or anytime sunday.

eh, ya don't really need air tools, just some muscles.... :D

EDIT: oh and make sure you have all the basic tools. needle nose pliers, 14mm socket, etc....

EDIT Again  you need a bolt for the o2 housing, the t25 has a stud that goes through the o2 housing and a nut on the end, the 14b doesn't have that stud, so you'll need to find a bolt that fits...i don't remember what size it is, maybe someone else on here knows? otherwise just go to OSH or Home Depot and pick up a stubby bolt and a nut to fit....

It is possible to ... *gasp* remove the stud and... bare with me now... insert it into the 14b!

:p Sorry, the smart ass came out of me

I've got this great tool I got at sears, was really cheap, 1/2" drive stud remover. you just stick it on your 1/2" drive socket wrench and stick the stud through it, and torque down and it'll usually get the stud out
