like air fuel controllers and such so in order to get my engine runing withuot my pcm going crazy because of the bigger injectors and more air from the bigger turbo, I know alot about cars but im not familure with what i can do to the dsms and Im still building it I havent started the engine yet because im not sure what else I need to get it to run

With injectors that large, you will need something more than the basic piggy back controller. A custom EPROM chip ($50-150)programed for your injectors and an EPROM ECU (~$250) if you don't already have one, matched with some sort of piggy back controller($200) would be the minimum. DSMLink for the 1G would be much better but is more costly at $565 plus an EPROM ecu (~$250) if you don't already have one. Some sort of stand alone would be the next step but are very costly and not very user friendly. Systems like the AEM EMS cost upwards of $1500 and the average joe won't be able to learn the system in a timely manner and use the system to the fullest. Expect to have pay someone by the hour, plus dyno time to tune most of the stand alone systems.

You could always invest in a Pocketlogger. Also you will need an AFPR if you don't already have that.

sorry I mean custom intake manifold, I made it, 6 inch runners with mounting bolts for a mustang throttle body mount made it out of sheet metal and I eliminated the egr port

So you still need an Intake?

Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator

http://www.fullthrottlespeed.com good price and nice stuff but always out of stock

http://www.slowboyracing.com/more.php?id=1182& might have to buy extra fittings with that one.

There's other websites I can't think of right now with them. If you have already then good but if not you will definately need it with that size injectors.

As for intake you can try

www.dejontool.com
http://www.forcedperformance.net/
http://straightlinespecialties.com/

Before you buy one though find out EXACTLY which one you need because there are so many variations of intakes. Especially with the Dejon Tool, you can always e-mail him and find out, he is a really nice guy.

With $900, I'd deffinetly recommend DSMLink. Slow boy racing sells them for $565 and Sacramento-DSM members get free shipping. You'll have to find out if you have an EPROM ECU. If you don't, they run about 250 and that will be within your budget. Hopefully you have a laptop or know someone with one because DSMLink is laptop based. You won't need a pocket logger with DSMLink because it has full logging capabilities built in.

Go with DSMLink over the Pocketlogger like Lee says :)

what type of gauges are you talking about exactly

EuroEclipse
May 19th, 2005, 10:56 AM
boost gauge, air fuel ratio gauge, exhaust gas temp gauge, oil pressure gauge.
i'd get those because you're gonna need them.
should make a list of your mods so we can help you out on what all you're gonna need just so you don't miss anything.

i'd pick up a blow through setup (GM MAF + translator). it'll help you when you start tuning. also check out a wideband o2 setup. you're gonna need to know what's going on with your air/fuel. DSMLink would also help a lot like everyone already said. it's easy to use and will help save you trouble in the long run.
those injectors are HUGE, so i hope you're picking up an aftermarket fuel pressure regulator like Shane suggested. i'd also look into getting a new clutch. all that power is gonna make the stock one slip. look into upgrading your spark plugs with some NGK BPR7ES.

do you have a compressor map/stats of that turbo? how much boost are you planning to run?
